COURSE SUMMARY
This course reflects the role of individuals who are independently engaged or employed as trackwork riders to exercise thoroughbred horses on the instruction of a trainer in the racing industry. The Trackwork Riding courses focus on the development of skills and knowledge required for safe trackwork riding for Slow work, working in the Thoroughbred racehorse industry and enables work through registration as a Trackwork Rider with Racing Victoria. The purpose of this course is to provide the skills and knowledge required for registration as a Trackwork Rider with Racing Victoria to ride racehorses in slow work for registered Racehorse Trainers.
