Skillinvest in conjunction with their valued hosts have excellent opportunities for 1st or 2nd Year Fabrication Apprenticeships. The successful applicants will undertake a Certificate lll in Engineering (Fabrication), with their host employers located in the following locations.

  • Hallam
  • Braeside
  • Pakenham
  • Dandenong
  • Ferntree Gully

This is a great opportunity to commence your Apprenticeship gaining skills in Sheetmetal components, CNC laser cutting, powder coating, turret punching, CNC folding and MIG & TIG welding equipment and other duties as required.

Suitable applicants must have a genuine interest in pursing Fabrication as a career path, be eager to learn, and have a good work ethic.

A car and licence is desirable as is any previous welding or fabrication experience.

A pre-apprenticeship in metal Fabrication will be highly regarded, but not a necessity. Successful applicants must be willing to undertake TAFE components of work to gain their qualification.

To be eligible for this position you must be a Permanent Resident or Australian citizen. Applicants with Degrees, Bachelors or Masters are not eligible for this position.
