An exciting and unique opportunity exists to be involved in the development and implementation of a Data Farm & AgTech Innovation Centre at Longerenong College.  The Data Farm, specific to the grains industry, will provide a commercial sized learning and training environment for students, growers, agronomists, researchers and local, national, and international visitors.  It will enable participants to learn more about developments in digital agriculture and applications for modern grains innovation in a real-life environment.

We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee the development of the 1,070ha Data Farm as well as identifying and coordinating industry specialists to develop new curriculum for inclusion into Longerenong College courses.  The project is already underway, so the successful applicant will be able to hit the ground running and have an immediate impact.

This is a rare opportunity to be involved in a project that will support hands-on, cutting edge learning that will foster increased productivity and financial returns on grain growing properties.

If you’re excited by this project and want to know more, please contact Kate Winteridge on 5381 6200 or for a position description.

This is a 12-month full-time position, starting immediately.
