Skillinvest on behalf of The Upper Hopkins Land Management Group are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Facilitator to support the Group with achieving its objectives.

The role will also include supporting the Ararat Landcare Group, Ararat Regional Biolinks Network and Lake Bolac Eel Festival committee.

The successful applicant will work directly with broad acre farmers, local schools and community groups and other members who have an interest in sustainably managing the land.


To be successful in this role candidates must possess the following attributes:

  • A degree in science, agriculture or environmental management or related field with some relevant work experience Or significant relevant experience and a demonstrated ability to perform successfully in the role.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Sound experience with IT  
  • Highly developed skills in organisation, planning and administration


This position is for a 12-month period, casual position (on average 16 hours per week) and is subject to funding after that time
