Skillinvest has an opportunity for a motivated candidate to undertake a Cert 111 Carpentry Apprenticeship with our host employer based in Bayswater supporting Big Build projects across Metropolitan Melbourne. The candidate will be supported by a Skillinvest consultant providing mentoring support throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.
This is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identified role. Duties:
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Read plans/drawing and implement works accordingly
Requirements:
- Genuine interest in building
- Enjoy hands on manual work
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to drive across Melbourne for multiple job sites
- Current driver's licence and car
- White Card
- Completed a Cert II Building in Construction Pre-App or some industry experience.
