Administration Officer Trainee

Skillinvest, in conjunction with our host employer located in the Melbourne CBD, are currently seeking to employ a Business Administration Trainee who will work to attain the nationally recognised qualification of Certificate IV Business.

Duties would include and not be limited to:

  • Answering phone calls, directing enquiries, and taking messages;
  • Computer-based tasks with written communications
  • Data entry
  • General Administration
  • Other duties as required

We are looking for a motivated person with strong communication skills and a sense of initiative, as well as the ability to learn quickly. The successful applicant will need to have good problem solving skills and to be able to plan and organise their work. Customer service and computer skills are definitely essential as is an understanding of the need for confidentiality.

The successful applicant will need to undertake a National Police check.

School leavers are encouraged to apply, however a Year 12 completion is desirable.

To be eligible for this position you must either be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
