Horticulture Trainee

Skillinvest has an opportunity for a motivated candidate to undertake a Horticulture Traineeship with Northern Grampians Shire Council in St Arnuad.

Duties:

• Planting, transplanting, and pruning small trees and shrubs
• Operating lawn mower, edgers and other maintenance tools
• Maintaining properties and structures
• Implement weed, pest and disease control measures
• Undertaking irrigation and drainage systems maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Genuine interest in horticulture and gardening
• Enjoy outdoor physical work
• Willingness to commit to work and study
• Positive attitude and self-motivated
