Horticulture Traineeship

Skillinvest has an opportunity for two motivated candidates to undertake a Horticulture traineeship in Bairnsdale. The successful candidates will study a Certificate III in Horticulture and gain valuable industry experience supported by a Skillinvest Mentor.

Duties Include:

  • Provide horticultural services
  • Maintain plant collections through gardening, grafting, pruning, and fertilising
  • Operate equipment like brush cutters, hedge trimmers, blowers, and chainsaws
  • Adhere to safety standards and procedures while performing all tasks

Requirements:

  • Hold a current driver's licence
  • Keen and enthusiastic learner with a genuine interest in horticulture and landscaping
  • Physically capable of performing strenuous, repetitive outdoor tasks
