Job Description:
Skillinvest is currently seeking a RTO Compliance Officer with a sound understanding of the Standards for RTOs and the Skills First Funding Contract.
The role of the RTO Compliance Officer is to support the RTO Compliance Department to ensure compliance of the RTO with training regulatory frameworks and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure currency and up to date knowledge of the Standards for RTOs and regulatory requirements.
- Regular auditing of student files and prompt rectifications of any issues identified.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits.
- Maintain compliant Trainer and Assessor files.
- Verification of Trainers and Assessors credentials.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the assessment system including training and assessment strategies, quality compliant assessment tools
- Assist with the implementation and maintance of regulatory and contractual requirements including the Standards for RTOs and State Funding Contracts.
- Assist the RTO Compliance Coordinator to undertake any projects relating to compliance.
- Generate and filter data reports and distribute as directed for rectification.
About You:
- Experience with and knowledge of a Student Management System
- Sound knowledge of ASQA, VRQA regulatory frameworks and other licencing bodies.
- Detailed knowledge of Skills First funding contract.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work well in a team or autonomously.
- Willingness to accept responsibility to achieve outcomes.
- 2-3 years experience working in an RTO in an administration or compliance role.
- Knowledge and understanding of Skills SA and Skills Tasmania funding contracts (desirable).
Qualifications/Licences:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
- Current Driver's Licence
- Employee Working with Children Check
- Australian Federal Police Check
