Village Manager

Part-time 20 hours per week

Skillinvest are seeking a self-motivated, experienced person for this hands on role in an independent living Retirement Village in Horsham. The Village Manager is required to establish and maintain effective liaison and professional working relationships with residents and families, external providers and the company's Head Office in Adelaide.

Duties will include:

  • Develop, maintain and co-ordinate Resident services and activities
  • Resident, family, community and service provider liaison
  • Manage Village budget and financial transactions
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation for site compliance
  • Support sales process and marketing initiatives
  • Co-ordinate building, grounds and asset maintenance

Attributes required to be successful in this role:

  • Proven experience in business or village management
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Intermediate experience in MS Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Negotiation and conflict resolutions skills
  • Knowledge of the Retirement Villages Act (20
