Our team, spread across Victoria and interstate, brings together a passionate and dedicated group of employment and training experts, to deliver best practice services and solutions that will help businesses, individuals and communities grow and succeed.
Many of our qualified and experienced staff have grown up in the area in which they work and bring the added advantage of local knowledge and connections. We also understand the many challenges and opportunities within the industries that we support, and have extensive experience working in a variety of trades.

DARREN WEBSTER – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
A member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Darren joined Skillinvest in 2005 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) before moving into the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in 2017.
Darren brings over 10 years of financial management experience in the employment and training industry and over 20 years financial management experience working in the Victorian water industry. He is a current board member of the Apprenticeship Employment Network (AEN), Wimmera Development Association and a past Chairperson of the Horsham Rural City Council Audit Committee. Darren is also a life member of the Horsham Apex Club.
JASON MAYBERY – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Jason joined Skillinvest in March 2009 as the Business Services Manager and moved into the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role in September 2017. He manages the WorkCover portfolio across the organisation and was instrumental in the construction of the new Skillinvest office in Horsham.
Jason worked in various payroll, finance, compliance and human resources roles within the water industry for 13 years, including a period as the Human Resources consultant for GWMWater. He also spent three years as the General Manager of the Horsham Golf Club and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.


GLEN POHLNER – GENERAL MANAGER OPERATIONS
Glen joined Skillinvest in early 2019 to oversee the Regional division of the business. Glen is a Skillinvest representative on the Headspace consortium.
Coming from a sales and operational management background, Glen held management roles at national and state levels and brings significant experience in understanding different customer needs and perspectives.
AMANDA HARDY – ACTING GENERAL MANAGER TRAINING
Amanda has led Skillinvest’s metro training department for the past ten years and recently expanded her management portfolio to include regional training services. She has now stepped into the role of Acting General Manager Training.
Before taking on her management role at Skillinvest, Amanda spent several years as a training coordinator and senior educator. With extensive experience in all aspects of training, she provides invaluable support to her team.
Amanda works across multiple industries, liaising with stakeholders, fostering relationships, and overseeing the development of training programs.


JACINTA LANGDON – GENERAL MANAGER LONGERENONG COLLEGE
Jacinta brings 25 years of experience in the agricultural, land management, and environmental industries. Her diverse roles include business owner, agronomist, extension officer, and trainer. Passionate about agriculture and youth, Jacinta’s recent role focused on attracting young people to the agriculture industry.
She has built strong relationships with schools, training organisations, industry, and farmers. From regional Victoria, Jacinta is deeply involved in her community, serving as a CFA leader and active committee member of local sports clubs. She is honoured to lead Longerenong College, and contribute to its success in agriculture training and education.
Nerea Huidobro – People and Culture Manager
With more than 20 years of progressive experience in human resources, Nerea has built a dynamic career spanning a wide range of industries, including education, vocational training, manufacturing, finance, insurance, and hospitality. Her diverse background has equipped her with a deep understanding of sector-specific challenges and the ability to tailor HR strategies to meet varied organisational needs.
Throughout her career, Nerea has partnered closely with executive and senior leadership teams to deliver both strategic and operational HR solutions. She is known for her ability to drive compliance, champion best practices, and cultivate inclusive workplace cultures. Her approach is grounded in building strong, trust-based relationships.
Nerea holds professional certification with the Australian Institute of Human Resources, reflecting her commitment to continuous development and excellence in the HR field.


CAROLYN ALCORN – TRANSFORMATION AND PROJECTS LEAD
Carolyn Alcorn is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in local and global organisations, having led and delivered complex and innovative solutions for various clients and sectors.
She has a strong background in business leadership, strategic management, and capability development. Carolyn works with the leadership team to uplift the company’s operating model, culture, and capabilities, resulting in improved services, operational efficiency, and reduced risk.
Carolyn also facilitates and empowers the collaboration and alignment of cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring the delivery of cost effective, impactful solutions for our communities.
