Skillinvest, on behalf of WEST VIC CABINETRY, is offering an exciting opportunity to join their team in Horsham as an Apprentice Cabinet Maker. Whether you’re ready to commit to a full-time role or looking for a school-based apprenticeship, this is your chance to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised Certificate III in Cabinet Making. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values attention to detail, quality results and growth—perfect for someone eager to learn a trade and build a rewarding future in the industry.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Learn how to measure, cut and assemble custom joinery from scratch
- Work with a range of materials such as MDF, particle board and timber veneer
- Use various hand tools, power tools and workshop machines
- Help install finished kitchens, wardrobes, laundries and vanities on-site
IS THIS YOU?
- Physical fit and capable of handling and installing cabinets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Have an interest in design, woodworking and problem-solving
- Reliable, motivated and eager to learn

To be eligible to receive an Apprenticeship or Traineeship and the government funding, candidates must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. New Zealand citizens must have resided in Australia for over 6 months to be eligible.
