WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Manage Apprentice and Trainee placements with Host Employers.
- Promote Skillinvest’s Group Training model for employing Apprentices and Trainees.
- Undertake all necessary pre-employment checks, inductions, OHS etc.
- Mentor and monitor apprentice/trainee performance.
- Carry out administrative tasks associated with host and employee files, RTO and trade school coordination/follow up, and employment paperwork.
IS THIS YOU?
- People orientated, confident to build strong relationships and local networks.
- An Apprentice or Trainee background would be an advantage.
- Experience in recruiting and managing staff.
- Ability to work with students and schools.
- Excellent communication and administrative skills.
Salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
This position requires travel to service the greater area of Melbourne and may include some regional travel, with our Melbourne office being based in Dandenong. The successful candidate will require a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
