Business Traineeship

Skillinvest is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a thriving business in the Ag sector, based in Horsham, as a Business Administration Trainee. This hands-on role combines paid work with structured training, including a nationally recognized Certificate III in Business. You will be supported every step of the way with ongoing mentoring and real-world experience in a dynamic industry.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Answer and respond to all incoming phone call and enquiries
  • Data entry and collation
  • Processing invoices, accounts payable & receivable, reconciling transactions
  • Coordinate administrative duties and prioritise tasks
  • Liaise with members of the team, undertaking all duties as tasked to you
  • Preparation for sale days and events
  • Other administrative tasks as required (ad hoc)

IS THIS YOU?

  • Excellent communication, customer service & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent computer skills including sound knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Ability to work as a team & independently, at times, under pressure & tight deadlines
  • Ability to quickly learn new software
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail a must
  • Skills in bookkeeping/ accounting or willingness to learn
  • Interest in Agriculture Sector

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

To be eligible to receive an Apprenticeship or Traineeship and the government funding, candidates must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. New Zealand citizens must have resided in Australia for over 6 months to be eligible.
