Skillinvest is offering a full-time Electrical Apprenticeship opportunity with Wades in Horsham for a motivated individual keen to gain hands-on experience while completing a Certificate III in Electrotechnology. Ongoing support and mentoring will be provided throughout the apprenticeship.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Interpret electrical diagrams and plan wiring layouts
  • Install, connect, and assemble electrical systems and equipment
  • Test, diagnose, and repair electrical faults
  • Assist with solar PV installations and general electrical work
  • Operate a range of tools and technical equipment

IS THIS YOU?

  • Enjoys hands‑on, technical problem‑solving with a natural interest in mechanics and electronics
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think logically and diagnose issues effectively
  • Comfortable working independently or within a team, completing precise and detailed tasks
  • Physically capable of meeting job demands, including working at heights
  • Clear communicator with good eyesight (corrected if needed) and normal colour vision

To be eligible to receive an Apprenticeship or Traineeship and the government funding, candidates must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. New Zealand citizens must have resided in Australia for over 6 months to be eligible.
