Skillinvest has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to undertake a full-time Glass & Glazing Apprenticeship with Horsham Doors & Glass. Our apprentice will receive ongoing mentoring and support while gaining hands-on experience on the job, alongside attending trade school for formal off-the-job training to obtain a ‘Certificate III in Glass & Glazing’.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Measure and install:
- Window repairs and reglazing– Putty and Beads
- Frameless & Semi Frameless Shower Screens
- Shop Fronts
- Splashbacks
- Mirrors
- Glass handling and cutting to size

ABOUT YOUR HOST
Horsham Doors and Glass (HDG) are a reputable and well-known locally owned and operated business with years of experience in the design, manufacturing and installation of high quality and affordable products and services throughout Victoria. HDG provide services for the retail home builder, handyman or renovator and major developers, building, commercial and industrial trade.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
To be eligible to receive an Apprenticeship or Traineeship and the government funding, candidates must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. New Zealand citizens must have resided in Australia for over 6 months to be eligible.
