Are you passionate about hair and eager to learn from the best in the industry? Skillinvest are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic candidate to join one of our host employers, a highly renowned salon based in Albert Park as an Apprentice Hairdresser. If you’re driven by creativity, love interacting with clients and have a keen eye for the latest trends, we want to hear from you!

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assist senior stylists with hair cutting, colouring and styling
  • Learn and master a range of hairdressing techniques and services
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and ensure their comfort
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Work full time, whilst completing a Certificate III in Hairdressing supported by a dedicated on site trainer and receive additional mentoring from a Skillinvest Consultant

 

IS THIS YOU?

  • Passion for hairdressing and a desire to learn and grow in the industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  • No prior experience required, but a keen interest in hairdressing is a must!

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

To be eligible to receive an Apprenticeship or Traineeship and the government funding, candidates must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. New Zealand citizens must have resided in Australia for over 6 months to be eligible.
