Skillinvest carpentry student honoured with Regional Apprentice Award

Skillinvest is proud to announce that recently completed Carpentry student Benjamin Janetzki has received the prestigious Ballarat Chairperson’s Award at the 2025 Master Builders Victoria Regional Apprentice of the Year Awards.

Benjamin, who completed his training with Skillinvest RTO and is employed by Winstar Construction, was nominated as a fourth-year Carpentry apprentice. Judges cited him as a clear standout among a strong field of finalists.

“Benjamin was described as exceptional and enthusiastic by his employer, and we agree,” said the judging panel. “He thoroughly enjoys the diverse nature of carpentry and the daily opportunities to learn new skills and insights.”

The award ceremony, held in Ballarat, celebrated outstanding apprentices from across the region.
