OVERVIEW
The AUR30620 Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a broad range of tasks of light vehicles in the automotive retail, service and repair industry.
To receive this qualification you must complete 20 core units, plus 16 elective units. Elective units have been chosen by Skillinvest based on feedback from industry.

The maximum duration for full-time is 48 months and part-time 72 months.
How is the Training Program delivered?
Apprenticeship.
What are the entry requirements?
There are no specific licenses that relate to this qualification. However, some units in this qualification may have licensing or regulatory requirements, depending on the work context. Local regulations should be checked for details.
You must have a training agreement with a registered employer from a relevant industry to enrol into the apprenticeship program.
All students must complete the enrolment process to undertake the Training Program including a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment and Pre-Training Review to ensure the training program is suitable for the student to enrol.
This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government Funding, eligibility criteria applies. People with a disability are encouraged to apply.
