Skillinvest has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to undertake a full-time Apprenticeship with Farmhouse Providore & Café in Horsham. Our apprentice will receive ongoing mentoring and support while gaining hands-on experience to obtain a ‘Certificate III in Commercial Cookery’.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assist in cooking and preparing food
  • Contribute ideas and work alongside the team to develop menu offerings
  • Wash and clean utensils and dishes, Ensuring make sure they are stored appropriately

 

IS THIS YOU?

  • Assist and work with other team members
  • Good communication skills
  • Be able to work in a busy environment
  • Willingness to commit to work and study
  • Have a passion for the hospitality field of work
  • Able to undertake and follow instructions

 

ABOUT YOUR HOST

Farmhouse Providore & Café serves as a gathering place where customers can connect with family, friends, the team and of course enjoy delicious food and coffee. Their mission is to ensure that every individual departs happier than when they first arrived. With a focus on locally sourced products for our providore, their shelves are stocked with an array of items such as jams, chickpea brownie mix, olive oils, handmade chocolates, tea, honey and chickpea treats.

To be eligible to receive an Apprenticeship or Traineeship and the government funding, candidates must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. New Zealand citizens must have resided in Australia for over 6 months to be eligible.
