Skillinvest are seeking a motivated individual to join a respected business as a Carpentry Apprentice located in Ringwood. Whether you are looking to start your apprenticeship journey or continue your training as a returning apprentice, we encourage you to apply. Our apprentice will receive ongoing mentoring whilst learning on the job and undertaking a ‘Certificate III in Carpentry’.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Safely operate hand and power tools
  • Read plans/drawings and implement works accordingly
  • Install doors, partitions, windows and commercial fit‑out components
  • Assist with site setup, including barricades, signage and temporary structures

 

IS THIS YOU?

  • Genuine interest in contributing to high-quality residential building and renovation projects
  • Enjoy hands on manual work
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to drive across Melbourne to multiple job sites
  • Must have a current Driver’s Licence and own vehicle
  • Completed a Cert II Building in Construction Pre-App or some industry experience [Desirable]

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

To be eligible to receive an Apprenticeship or Traineeship and the government funding, candidates must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. New Zealand citizens must have resided in Australia for over 6 months to be eligible.
