Skillinvest is a not-for-profit Group Training & Registered Training Organisation delivering training in many Industry sectors.

Skillinvest’s Building and Construction area is seeking a Cert IV qualified Trainer and Assessor to join our team in 2026. Delivering the Certificate IV in Building and Construction CPC40120 in an online/virtual classroom, 2 evenings per week.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Deliver high quality training to students
  • Prepare for and deliver training and assessment services in accordance with Skillinvest’s RTO policies and procedures
  • Adjust/develop flexible teaching and learning strategies to assist students to successfully complete course outcomes
  • Maintain currency of knowledge in relevant training packages and vocational industry
  • Be able to work and contribute to part of a team and work autonomously as required
  • Develop strong relationships with students, staff and other stakeholders

 IS THIS YOU?

  • Certificate IV Building & Construction qualification or higher
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Building and Construction Industry
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check and Police Check

 You must have a strong customer focus and a willingness to work as part of a growing team, in a fast-paced environment. You should enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with people new to the industry and can create flexible assessment tools according to Workplace conditions and Training Package standards.
