Skillinvest has an opportunity for a motivated candidate to undertake an Engineering – Fabrication Apprenticeship with Weldform Constructions.  Our apprentice will receive ongoing mentoring support from a dedicated Skillinvest Consultant whilst undertaking a ‘Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication’.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Draft and fabricate steel for residential and commercial projects
  • Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • Measure and mark out materials / prepare materials
  • Check tolerances and quality to ensure parts meet specifications before assembly or delivery

ABOUT YOUR HOST

Working with builders, engineers, architects and customers to find and provide an end-to-end construction, Weldform Structures primary work revolves around drafting, fabricating steel for residential and commercial projects and designing construction solutions. Their ability to maximise fabrication – by means of streamlining steel manufacture processes and installation – has opted for a workflow built on productivity, efficiency, quality and delivery.

Weldform’s operations are typically built on bringing together 3D modelling, technology and NC machinery to streamline and manage processes for better outcomes.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

To be eligible to receive an Apprenticeship or Traineeship and the government funding, candidates must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. New Zealand citizens must have resided in Australia for over 6 months to be eligible.
