Are you looking for rewarding, hands-on seasonal work? Skillinvest is seeking Field Workers for the upcoming 2026/27 harvest season in Horsham, Dooen and surrounding areas. Opportunities are available with a range of crop research organisations undertaking important agricultural trials and research projects.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assembling trial tents and cages
  • General labouring and shovelling
  • Manual picking and harvesting of plants
  • Hand threshing of seed
  • Bagging flowering plants
  • Cleaning, treating and bagging seed
  • Sowing seeds in pots

IS THIS YOU?

  • Reliable transport to and from work
  • Flexible availability and able to work at short notice when required
  • Physically fit and capable of manual work
  • Comfortable working outdoors, including during warmer weather
  • Able to follow instructions and work safely
  • Strong attention to detail and able to complete repetitive tasks
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
