Skillinvest is offering a fantastic pathway into the aged care industry with an Individual Support Traineeship at Lutheran Homes Group in Horsham.

This is your opportunity to earn while you learn, completing a Certificate III in Individual Support while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive and rewarding environment. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll develop the skills and knowledge needed to provide compassionate care and support to residents while building a meaningful and fulfilling career.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Delivering compassionate care and support to help residents with their daily living needs
  • Assisting with activities that promote wellbeing, independence and quality of life
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents health and wellbeing
  • Participate in Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) training and activities
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families and team members

IS THIS YOU?

  • Caring & patient individual with passion for helping others
  • Positive attitude and able to adapt to varying situations
  • Physically fit and enjoy being active in a hands on role
  • Willing to complete pre-employment checks and required vaccinations, where applicable.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION

To be eligible to receive an Apprenticeship or Traineeship and the government funding, candidates must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. New Zealand citizens must have resided in Australia for over 6 months to be eligible.
