Begin your Landscape Construction career with Skillinvest. Hosted by Northern Grampians Shire Council in Stawell, this apprenticeship provides practical on‑the‑job experience and the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Landscape Construction.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Assist with preparing sites, plans and materials for landscape construction
- Install hardscape features including paths, walls, steps and timber structures
- Support softscape works such as planting, shaping and garden bed installation
- Help construct and maintain irrigation systems, ponds and other landscape elements
- Operate and care for tools, machinery and equipment safely
IS THIS YOU?
- Genuine interest in landscaping, horticulture and outdoor physical work
- Willingness to learn and complete a nationally recognised qualification
- Reliable, motivated and able to follow instructions on busy worksites
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Basic hand‑tool skills and confidence using equipment (training provided)
- Current driver’s licence desirable
