Skillinvest is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Hand for an exciting opportunity to join the Wimpak lentils processing plant in Minyip, Victoria.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • General machine/plant maintenance
  • Welding and gas cutting
  • Liaising with truck drivers, customers and other personnel
  • General yard duties

IS THIS YOU?

  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance and fabrication
  • Drivers licence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physically fit and able to meet manual demands of the role
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Desirable – HC truck licence
  • Desirable – Forklift, working safely at heights and confined space tickets
  • Desirable – White card
  • Training/upskilling maybe provided for the right candidate

Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including a Medical Assessment, Drug and Alcohol Screening and Police Check.
