Skillinvest is currently seeking an experienced Compliance Officer with strong knowledge and understanding of the Outcome Standards for NVR RTOs 2025 and the Skills First Funding Contract.

The role of the RTO Compliance Officer supports compliance within the RTO in line with training regulatory frameworks and standards.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Regular auditing of student files and prompt rectifications of any issues identified
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external audits
  • Maintaining compliant Trainer and Assessor files
  • Verification of Trainers and Assessors credentials
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the assessment system including training and assessment strategies, quality compliant assessment tools
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of regulatory and contractual requirements including the Outcome Standards for NVR RTOs 2025 and State Funding Contract
  • Assist the RTO Compliance Coordinator to undertake key projects relating to compliance
  • Generate and filter data reports and distribute in line with our Compliance Reporting Schedules
  • Maintain currency and up to date knowledge of regulatory/contractual requirements

IS THIS YOU?

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of a Student Management System
  • Sound knowledge of ASQA, regulatory frameworks and other licencing bodies
  • Detailed knowledge of Skills First funding contract
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work well in a team effectively or autonomously
  • Willingness to accept responsibility to achieve outcomes
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in an RTO in an administration or compliance role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Skills SA and Skills Tasmania funding contracts (desirable)

Salary will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.

This position may require travel to regional, with our head office being based in Horsham. The successful candidate will require a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
