Skillinvest has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to undertake a School-Based Apprenticeship with Dunmunkle Lodge in Minyip. Our apprentice will receive ongoing mentoring and support while gaining hands-on experience to obtain a ‘Certificate III in Commercial Cookery’.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Assisting in the preparation and cooking of meals
  • Serve meals for residents in a safe, respectful and timely manner
  • Wash and store clean utensils and dishes in line with food safety regulations

IS THIS YOU?

  • Must have a passion for the food industry
  • Have good interpersonal, communication and people skills
  • Able to work in a busy team environment
  • Must be punctual & reliable
  • Willing to commit to work and study
  • Willing to obtain a Police Check

To be eligible to receive an Apprenticeship or Traineeship and the government funding, candidates must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. New Zealand citizens must have resided in Australia for over 6 months to be eligible.
