Skillinvest has exciting opportunities available and is seeking motivated students for School-Based Business Traineeships in Blackburn North and Clayton.

While completing a Certificate III in Business, you’ll spend two days each week in the workplace gaining valuable hands-on experience and three days at school continuing your secondary education.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop practical business and administrative skills, build confidence in a professional environment, gain a nationally recognised qualification, earn while you learn and improve your future career opportunities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Document control
  • Data entry and spreadsheet maintenance
  • SharePoint administration and document management
  • Printing and binding
  • Monitoring and responding to shared inboxes
  • General administrative support

IS THIS YOU?

  • Good communication skills
  • Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Motivated and reliable
  • Willing to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug&Alcohol test

To be eligible to receive an Apprenticeship or Traineeship and the government funding, candidates must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. New Zealand citizens must have resided in Australia for over 6 months to be eligible.
