Skillinvest is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to take on the role of Track and Facilities Manager at the Warracknabeal Racecourse. This is a key leadership position responsible for maintaining high quality racing surfaces and ensuring the racecourse and facilities are presented to the highest standard for race meetings and events.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Preparation and maintenance of the racetrack in line with Racing Victoria standards
  • Upkeep of grounds, gardens, buildings, and infrastructure
  • Supervision and development of staff and contractors
  • Implementation of maintenance programs and budgets
  • Ensuring a safe environment in accordance with OH&S requirements
  • Race day and event preparation

IS THIS YOU?

  • Experience in turf management or a similar role
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Ability to operate and maintain machinery
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Knowledge of the racing industry (desirable)
