We are seeking a professional, experienced and motivated Automotive Training Coordinator to support the delivery of outstanding training outcomes across our Automotive programs at our Dandenong Campus. This role would involve a combination of Coordination and training delivery to our students.
This fulltime role is central to ensuring our training and assessment practices meet regulatory standards while upholding Skillinvest’s commitment to an exceptional student experience.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Lead, mentor and support a team of Trainers and Assessors
- Oversee the delivery of high‑quality Automotive training programs
- Manage training quality, compliance and continuous improvement processes
- Build team capability and support professional development
- Monitor operational performance and contribute to strategic planning
- Foster strong relationships with industry partners and stakeholders
- Promote a positive, dynamic and student‑focused training environment
- Drive innovation and uphold high standards across the training department
IS THIS YOU?
- Minimum 5 years’ vocational industry experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the VET sector
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating a team, ideally within an educational setting
- Strong negotiation skills across diverse stakeholders
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Employee Working with Children Check or VIT registration
- National Police Check or VIT registration
- Demonstrated leadership and teambuilding capability
You must have a strong customer focus and a willingness to work as part of a growing team, in a fast-paced environment. You should enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience with people new to the industry and can create flexible assessment tools according to Workplace conditions and Training Package standards.
