OVERVIEW
The 22674VIC Course in Trackwork Riding for Fast Work reflects the role of individuals who are independently engaged or employed as trackwork riders to exercise thoroughbred horses on the instruction of a trainer in the racing industry. The Trackwork Riding courses focus on the development of skills and knowledge required for safe trackwork riding for Fast work, working in the Thoroughbred racehorse industry and enables work through registration as a Trackwork Rider with Racing Victoria. The purpose of this course is to provide the skills and knowledge required for registration as a Trackwork Rider with Racing Victoria to ride racehorses in Fast work for registered Racehorse Trainers.

What are the entry requirements?
Must be currently employed by a thoroughbred racing stable and have existing basic horse riding skills.
All students must complete the enrolment process to undertake the Training Program including a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment and Pre-Training Review to ensure the training program is suitable for the student to enrol.
