Skillinvest is currently seeking a 2nd or 3rd year Electrical Apprentices looking for an opportunity to complete a Certificate III Electrotechnology. Based locally in Dingley Village, you will receive ongoing mentoring whilst working towards becoming a trade qualified Electrician.

Our host is a well-established family business specialising in the clean energy sector focusing on renewable energy and energy efficiency with projects on the go across Melbourne. You will receive one on one training work alongside a skilled A Grade Electrician and will gain valuable firsthand experience in a safe and professional environment.

Duties

• Preparation and installation of new solar panels and batteries
• Connect electrical equipment, switches, outlets, fittings, and circuit breakers
• Installing PV systems and energy storage solutions
• Upgrades + maintenance.
• Maintenance of installation of Security & CCTV Systems
• Other duties as directed

Requirements

• Drivers Licence
• Car preferred (or be able to get to Dingley)
• Have initiative and critical thinking skills
• Very good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working at heights
• 2nd or 3rd year Electrical apprentice
