Skillinvest is currently seeking enthusiastic applicants for a Retail Traineeship with our host employer based in Metung. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment while completing a Certificate III in Retail. The host employer is a well-regarded local postal agency that plays a vital role in serving the community.

As a trainee, you will work full-time while studying and receive ongoing support from a dedicated Skillinvest Consultant throughout your traineeship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service
• Assist with sales and transactions
• Maintain store presentation and cleanliness
• Handle stock and inventory
• Operate point-of-sale systems
• Maintaining privacy and security
• Support general postal operations

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a retail environment
• Ability to work well in a team
• Reliable and punctual
• No prior experience required - just a great attitude!
